· Only
the two centres can start the game in the centre third but, when making the
centre pass, the ball must be received by a.n. other in the centre third.
· Male players can only defend male player’s.
· You cannot step or hop in netball – this is a foot foul.
· When defending you must be three foot from your opposition.
· If you are penalised for contact or obstruction you must stand by the
side of the player taking the penalty pass or shot.
· Only the GS (goal shooter) and the GA (goal attack) can shoot and then
only when both feet are in the semi circle.
· You cannot bounce the ball to yourself in netball.
