Subject: Mini Olympics - Video Gaming Event 2009

Dear all,
I'm happy to announce that the game which will be played in the Video Gaming event this year is Ravin Rabbids 2 on the Wii! This game requires very little or no previous experience at all of video gaming. It's more or less all about shaking the controllers at various degrees of intensity or periodicity.

Please see attached the rules of this event.

If you should have any questions regarding this event - bear in mind that I will be more or less unreachable between and including the 8th and 18th of June. The Video gaming event is on the 23rd of June.
Best regards from the video gaming event organiser,
Maria

2 heats of 3 teams followed by finals with top two teams from each of both heats.

The games will be played as described in the table below. The teams will be picked from a hat before the games start. Alternatively, if one team for some reason should be late that team will start in Semi Final 2.

·  Each team will be represented by 5 players, at least 1 female, players A, B, C, D & E.

·  These 5 players will play one directly after another in a set of 5 short rabbid games.

·  The total scores for each team will automatically be added up on the screen.

·  In the event of a tie – one short game will be played to decide the distribution of the Mini-O points.

·  Mini-O points: 12 points first place, 10 points second place, 8 points third place, 6 points fourth place in the Final. 4 points if knocked out in Semi Final. 0 for 'no show'.

·  Things will be set up at 5 PM or shortly thereafter, to allow everyone to practise until the game starts at 6 PM sharp! If things go as planned it should all be over and done with within 1-1.5 hours.
