SUTTON MINIOLYMPICS 2004
==============================================

Miniolympics are in full swing now, with five events this week!

Yesterday evening saw the culmination of the first event: the Squash final. As last year, this was won by the Eastenders in cracking form; well done, Chris Louise and Peter.

In other events, the following teams have got through to semifinals -
Table tennis - MUCRC and Therapeutics
Pool - Chemistry and Westsiders
Badminton - Eastsiders and Big Macs
Volleyball - Physics v. Eastsiders, Therapeutics v. Chemistry

The volleyball was so vigorously contested on Monday that two balls went into the stratosphere and were lost! - can anyone think of a way to retrieve them from the roof and rafters in time for the semifinals?

On current form, the favourites for the trophy are Eastenders, closely pursued by Therapeutics and MUCRC - but there's a long way to go yet! If you're not playing, do come and support your team - it's free entertainment.

If watching the volleyball, better wear your steel hat.....
