KEEP Fit - Home Page


The Keep Fit group meets regularly in the Downs Club Hall all through the year on Tuesday and Friday lunchtimes.

All ICR and RMH staff members are welcome to attend the keep fit sessions whatever your fitness level.  The sessions are led on a voluntary basis by ICR and RMH staff and the focus is on enjoyment rather than hard core training.  The activity is essentially free but there is a nominal charge of £1 per session to cover hall hire, cleaning etc. 

The keep fit session is based on a general circuit of about 13 various exercises, a mixture of aerobic and core strengthening.  There is a warm up, then 2 or 3 circuits of varying times, followed by a warm down.

Attendees generally exercise in pairs or threes and exercise at their own pace.  There is no pressure to go any faster than you want to.
