The Ups
Club and pH Bar are places where you can relax, play sport or socialise with
your friends. You can also swim in The Roderick Moore Swimming Pool
(20m).
pH Bar
The pH Bar is run by volunteers and is open on Thursday and Friday evenings
from 5.30 - 11.00pm.
The pH Bar has music and bar activities and also hosts a number of special
events during the year, such as quizzes, parties (Christmas, Spring, Summer
and Halloween), BBQ’s and the September Beerfest.
Downs Hall
The sprung-floor sports hall can be booked for sports and other social
occasions via our hall committee.
Mini Olympics
One of
the highlights of the Ups Club calendar is the Mini Olympics which is
held between June - August. This is open to teams of all-comers from
the RMH and ICR and has been running for over 20 years. The event brings together
people from all over the site to meet head
to head at quiz and sporting events - culminating in a special
‘Finals Night’ that includes a tug of war, food and music.
