General Information:
Very active
club from the early days, however suspended due to COVID-19 and loss of Hall in
May 2022.
Restart in
July 2023.
Invitation
for anyone from Sutton ICR or RMH site to join our badminton group.
We
play on Tuesday/Thursdays between 5.30-7.30
pm and Mondays between 8.00-9.00 pm
at Downs Hall (Ups Sports Hall, next to pH bar).
Quarterly
(3-months) membership fee:

All
levels are welcome.
[We are currently
playing on Monday-Friday at Better Leisure centres between 6-8 pm in Sutton/Tadworth/Rainbow/Waddon depending on the availability of
the courts]

All players
of any level are welcome to attend. We play with plastic shuttle-cocks, but if anyone
who wants to bring their own feather shuttles these would also be very welcome.
Nominal fee
is levied to subsidise our hall rental and consumables (floating charge as it
depends on the number of players that we have at a given period).
It is also preferred
for players to bring their own rackets, although the club can lend out one or
two old rackets (if available).
We play
mostly doubles and the new 21 point system.
