Agenda:

1. As an action point from the Ordinary General Meeting 22 September 2005, the Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman (officers of the club) were actioned to start the process of moving the funds from the Halifax account to the Alliance and Leicester. The meeting was convened to sign the relevant paperwork and discuss the account options.

Meeting:

1. Laure presented the transfer documents for completion and signing.

The main transfer form was filled by Laure, Bob and Steve.

All three will need to produce a validation of identity. Laure gave Bob and Steve copies which can be validated independently at any Alliance and Leicester branch with proof of identity. Action Bob and Steve to complete and give forms to Laure.

It was decided to opt for the internet option.

There was a section in the transfer form asking about how many signatories were required for cheque signing, transfer etc. Any two of the officers was the option chosen.

There was a section in the transfer form asking for a copy of the squash club’s constitution. Steve had an old type written sheet available, but it was not dated. A proposal was made to validate this copy, this was agreed unanimously. The copy was signed and dated by those present. Bob noted there was reference to a ‘Vice Chairman’. It was noted that this position had not been a recognised one on the committee for quite a while. A photocopy was made for attachment to the application. (Note post meeting - Steve found another hand written version, again not dated and without reference to a Vice Chairman). Action Committee to draft and accept formally an updated constitution.

The address for correspondence was placed in the Treasurer’s name.
